The story revolves around four friends, Adi (Arshad Warsi), Manav (Jaaved Jaaferi), Roy (Riteish Deshmukh), and Boman (Aashish Chaudhary), who are down on their luck and desperately in need of money. They come across a news article that talks about a hidden treasure located in Goa.
Motivated by the prospect of becoming rich, the four friends set out on a journey to find the treasure. Along the way, they encounter a corrupt police officer named Kabir Nayak (Sanjay Dutt), who also has his eyes on the treasure. Kabir initially tricks them and manages to get away with the treasure, leaving the friends empty-handed.
Determined to get their share, Adi, Manav, Roy, and Boman devise a plan to get their revenge and retrieve the treasure from Kabir. They pretend to be successful businessmen and approach Kabir with a lucrative business proposition, intending to outsmart him and get the treasure back.
As the friends execute their plan, they find themselves in a series of comical situations and encounter various eccentric characters, including a wealthy businessman named Dhillon (Satish Kaushik) and his flirtatious wife, Kamini (Mallika Sherawat). The chaos escalates, leading to hilarious misunderstandings, mistaken identities, and slapstick comedy.
Through their comedic efforts, the four friends ultimately manage to outwit Kabir and reclaim the hidden treasure. However, the story takes a twist when they realize that the treasure they have recovered is counterfeit. Undeterred by this setback, they continue to pursue their dreams of becoming rich, setting the stage for more laughter and hijinks.
"Double Dhamaal" is a light-hearted comedy that combines humor, adventure, and friendship. It showcases the camaraderie and chemistry among the lead actors while delivering an entertaining and enjoyable experience for the audience.
